Matilda FoodTech continues its European growth journey and appoints a new CEO

Matilda FoodTech AB, the leading digital platform for meal service organisations and food producers in the Nordics, has experienced strong growth in recent years. The company is now entering its next phase of expansion and has appointed Stefan Persson as its new CEO. With extensive experience in scaling software companies internationally, Stefan now takes over the baton with the ambition to provide even better support to existing customers in their daily operations, while accelerating the company’s growth across Europe.

Matilda FoodTech provides a comprehensive platform that digitalises and streamlines the entire meal process – from food procurement and production to meal planning, serving and follow-up. Through data-driven tools, organisations can make better decisions, reduce food waste and operate more efficiently, with sustainability and quality at the core.

Stefan Persson most recently comes from Configura, an international software company headquartered in Linköping, Sweden. During his six years as CEO, he led the company through a period of strong global growth and improved profitability. He brings extensive experience in building and developing international teams across sales, service and product development.
