Region Skåne featured on TV4 News for new patient meal concept

TV4 Nyheterna in Sweden recently featured Region Skåne for its new patient meal concept, highlighting how increased flexibility and patient choice are improving mealtime experiences in healthcare.

A key part of the initiative is Matilda Patient Ordering, which allows patients to choose what and when to eat from a shared menu of chilled meals that are heated on the ward. The results are clear: patients eat more, food waste has decreased, and Region Skåne estimates annual savings of approximately SEK 40 million.
